The overcast, rainy weather was the perfect pathetic fallacy for the men’s lacrosse game last Saturday.  The Seahawks lost 7-5 to York College, setting the team’s conference record at 1-2 and overall record to 3-5. This was York’s first win over the Seahawks since 2000. The Seahawks were in the lead the entire first quarter with 2 goals, until York scored 3 times in the in second quarter. After halftime, York scored once more in the third quarter. With a little under 11 minutes remaining, the Seahawks scored again, but it was not enough as York made three goals in the row, securing York’s lead. The Seahawks managed two more goals before the game ended, but York was victorious in the end. Sophomores Dennis Rosson and Chris Morihlatko both scored 2 goals and Chris Becraft made 1 goal. Assists were made by first-year Billy Sheurer and junior Ryan Alexander. The next game is April 1 against Marymount University in Arlington.
