On Friday, Feb. 26, students danced in the Athletic and Recreation Center until 2:30 am for the “Dance Your Shoes Off Dance Marathon!” The event, which was part of the Nest and hosted by the Residence Life Staff and Programs Board, was held to raise donations for Haiti. Attendees were asked to bring a donation of 5 dollars for the American Red Cross or shoes for Soles for Souls.
About 40 students and staff and two College administrators jumped into the St. Mary’s River on Thursday, Feb. 18 by the River Center as part of the annual Polar Bear Splash. Proceeds gathered from the event supported relief for victims of Haiti’s earthquake.

Even since the nation of Haiti was decimated by a major earthquake, dedicated students and staff at St. Mary’s have been giving their time and resources to help those in need.
