The Sweet Sixteen Seahawks finished out their run in the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championships on Friday, Mar. 12, with an incredibly close 92-87 game against Franklin & Marshall College that pushed the Diplomats into sectional final action on Mar. 13. In front of a sold-out crowd of students, faculty members, and even President-Elect Joseph Urgo, the CAC Champions played an intense game that brought the deciding shots down to the last twelve seconds of the fourth quarter, aided by a three-pointer from senior guard Camontae Griffin. University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point went on to win the championship on Mar. 20.
